PLANNING THE WEB SITE

Our planning sessions is where it really begins.

We realize you have questions — and we need to find out what you need. During initial consultations, we'll gather information about your web site, and how it relates to your business, its operations, and your goals for the Internet. We'll identify your target audience, key search terms, and note your ideas and preferences for the web site, how it will function, and "look and feel."

Before you pay anything we will upload a sample design for your approval.

If you accept it, we go forward with the web site you always wanted.

We'll conduct strategy sessions with you, and will decide upon the essential elements needed for your web site We'll make recommendations about "look and feel" pertinent to your business and customers, logo, graphic images, distribution and flow of information through the site, what it will take to make the web site easy for your customers to use, and will identify and recommend strategies, necessary components and resources required to implement the web site and your web promotion campaign.

We'll also gather from you any necessary information about your company and services and products, for conversion into ad copy — because, while we are experts at what we do, you are the expert at your business and you know your customers.

Once all our testing is completed and you have approved the final web site, we will upload
it to its own webspace on the Internet. Your web site will be "live" to the world!

When the final production is "live" on the web we start to bring traffic to your website.
We can promote it by submitting it to all the major search. Engines. They will visit
and will schedule it for inclusion is the search results database. We build the html
code to be search engine friendly to obtain good placement in search results.

We'll also carefully craft submissions to the major directories (such as Yahoo!, LookSmart, and the Netscape Open Directory Project). Although these directories are major sources of traffic to web sites, but they do not guarantee they'll list anyone — however, with the tools available to us we will do to the best of
our ability get good placement.

And that's it — your web site is live, and you can now start enjoying traffic from the World Wide Web.

Search Engine and Directory Submissions

Part of any Web marketing strategy is to ensure that your website can be found by your potential customers. That means submitting it to the major search engines and directories so that your website's pages will turn up in appropriate searches.

The Major Search Engines
Most search engine traffic comes from approximately twelve "major" search engines, such as Excite and Alta Vista. We will ensure that your website is submitted to these search engines.

In addition, we can also research and review topical search engines and websites to locate any frequented by your target audience. Since these can be a valuable source of traffic, these search engines and directories can be included in your overall search engine promotional plan.

Major Directories
Major directories such as Yahoo! and the AOL/Netscape Open Directory Project (dmoz.org) are also of primary importance in gaining traffic, and therefore must be included in Internet marketing strategies. Although listings cannot be guaranteed, we will use our best efforts to gain these prized listings for you.

Maintenance and Review
Search engines are notoriously changeable, and have become more so lately. Additionally, as the number of pages on the Web grows, some search engines have taken to dropping pages in order to make room for more. Our submission programs update on a regular basis to
ensure your web site stays search engine friendly.

As a part of our ongoing maintenance of your website, we can monitor your website's rankings on a daily basis, resubmit where needed, and make recommendations for future promotional actions

When your web site has been live for a period of time, we'll consult with you to get your reactions to the site, review your hit logs with you, and go over any indicated changes. If warranted, we'll make recommendations for further enhancements to ensure that your web site remains up-to-date and has any information or functionality crucial to maintaining and increasing web site traffic and sales.

We can also arrange for updates, periodic submissions to search engines, check its performance and functionality and maintain your web site over the long term, and make recommendations based on your company's needs.
